Our Process

  • Children's outdoor playhouse with stone and wood towers, a yellow slide, and a ladder, set in a grassy yard with trees and sunlight in the background.

    Step 1: Inspiration

All playhouses start with an idea. Typically, we invite parents to ask their kids what sort of playhouse concept they would like. It can be anything! Our imagination experts will brainstorm with you to come up with the perfect plan that fits into your budget. If you feel ready to begin your playhouse journey, fill out our Request a Quote form!

  • A blueprint of a house design on a workbench, surrounded by woodworking tools, wood shavings, and a paintbrush.

    Step 2: Design

When ready, we book a design session with our sketch artist virtually. Our professional sketch artist draws your vision as you watch so you can add or subtract elements, change the shape, and make it exactly yours! The session lasts an hour, is typically booked on weekends or evenings for your convenience, and costs $500.00.

  • A man working on a wooden project in a workshop, using a red power planer on a piece of wood.

    Step 3: Build

At this point, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy hearing about updates to your playhouse on our social media channels. We will reach out periodically if we have questions or concerns about your playhouse, and will contact you approximately 2 weeks prior to shipping to make final arrangements.

  • A large crane truck parked on a residential street, lifting a small, partially built house structure. A woman and three children walk hand-in-hand nearby on the sidewalk under a partly cloudy sky.

    Step 4: Delivery & Installation

Our playhouses are built to completion in our shop, then dismantled into pieces for shipping on flat-bed trucks. Depending on the scale of the project, we may travel to your location and install the project ourselves. Installation and delivery can take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks, depending on how big and complicated your playhouse is!
